CMAS * (Bronze)
Course Description:
- Diving course for beginners / novice
- This course gives you eligibility to participate in guided dives in open waters up to 25mtrs.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 14 years
- Valid medical certificate for diving fitness
Theory of education:
- 4-5 Units
- Education Theory in diving physics, diving medicine, technology, practice and threat detection and prevention equipment
Environmental Practice First Aid Training:
- 4-5 units
- Shallow free diving exercises habituation exercises
- Fin exercises pressure drain mask
- Dealing with the diving equipment
- Buddy breathing underwater
- Scuba diving and rescue techniques
Total of 5 dives in free water
Course Duration: 2-4 days
Certification: Certification & CMAS certificate (valid international diving certificate)
CMAS ** (Silver)
Course Description:
- This certification is based on the CMAS ** Bronze course, and will teach you to become an independent responsible diver and allow you to dive to a maximum of 30 mtrs with a buddy, trained to the equivalent level.
- The CMAS ** Silver is recognised worldwide.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 16 years
- CMAS / DTSA bronze or equivalent certification,
- Valid medical certificate for diving fitness
- 30 dives since attaining CMAS * Bronze
- CMAS logbook which shows at least 10 dives to 20 mtrs
- Speciality orientation course while diving
- Speciality group leading course
- Evidence of a CPR course (no older than one year)
- DAN Oxygen Provider course is recommended
Theory of education:
- 4-6 units of theory classes
- Self-study to increase knowledge of the CMAS / DTSA Bronze Course
- Diving physics and knowledge
- Diving medicine and equipment
- Hazard identification and prevention
- Dive planning and assessment
Practical dive training:
- Repetition of skills from the CMAS * course
- Different promotion exercises
- Orientation under water
- Briefing, dive planning and proper implementation of dive
- Dive Organisation Management
- Rescue skills

CMAS *** (Gold)
Course Description:
This course provides training for advanced scuba divers and is a precursor towards assistant instructor as well as being the first step towards the Professional Divers CMAS Diver ***. People undertaking this qualification are often recruited by diving schools around the world as a guide and dive organizer. The focus lies with good group management, assist the instructor with training the diving group, learn to be able to perform under difficult conditions, and control emergency situations. Depth limit is 40 mtrs.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years
- CMAS ** or equivalent certification
- Valid medical certificate for diving fitness
- 60 dives since attaining CMAS ** Silver
- A minimum of 10 dives with at least 30 mtrs (25 mtrs) in fresh water
- Special Course Diving Safety
- Night Dive Rescue Diving Specialty Course
- DAN Oxygen Provider recommended.
Theory:
- 4-6 theory lessons and individual study units
- Comprehensive theoretical knowledge of diving physics and diving medicine
- Scuba diving calculations and planning technique
- Resuscitation and first aid
- Group management
Emergency Plan Training Practice:
- Free diving
- Performance Test (Group management with inexperienced divers and rescue in difficult conditions)
- Help & Emergency Management
- Deep dives with decompression
- 6 different test dives in free water
Course Duration: 6-9 days approximately
Certification: CMAS *** Gold.
CMAS Continuing Education “orientation under water”
This special course is Silver (CMAS **) condition.
Course Content:
You will be trained so that in any event, you know where you are at all times, and above all else, where the boat or the entry point is. For safe diving, it is important you are able to orient yourself underwater.
Participants in this special course will be instructed in the mysteries of the underwater world and underwater navigation with compass orientation / navigation with the help of natural events. There will be 4 dives + 2 theory sessions
Pre-requisites: DTSA bronze and at least 20 dives, plus a minimum age of 14 years old
Certification: CMAS adhesive inserts & Brevet

CMAS Continuing Education “group tour”
Course Description:
- This course is a pre-requisite for CMAS *** / gold and contains the basic elements for group leaders to be able to deliver a course to groups from the “briefing” to “debriefing” stages. Group members can be assessed and lead by a responsible group dive leader, to ensure a responsible and safe dive.
Objectives:
- To ensure the communication within the group is understood by the diving group both above and below water. Each group will have 2-4 students in it.
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum age 16 years
- CMAS * / bronze or open water, or equivalent qualification
- at least 20 dives
- Continuing Education Orientation and CPR
